Since July 1, 2009, all our children have been living together on our own property. They live there in two houses, divided by sex. There they are in good hands! Now, there are no lease costs anymore, there is no trouble caused by dubious landlords and, most important, we are safe! We even have enough room to grow our own fruits and vegetables (e.g. pineapple, passion fruit, sweat bananas, plantain, tomatoes, aubergines, spinach). The children and teenagers help to take care of it. Thus, they learn to bear responsibility. It is one of our most important concerns to put this across!

We have finished to build a cage with a outdoor-enclosure for our chicken. The older boys have helped us a lot. Now, our harvest will hopefully be more efficient and we will be a little more professional.

Substantial progress is our safe drinking water supply our of the tap, which is assured by our own well.
